A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold In settings of silver.
~ Proverbs 25:11 ~
We had a wonderful surprise today; it arrived in the mail. We received an encouraging word from a friend that left us edified. I could not stop smiling at this kiss from my Lord!
Her thoughtfulness reminded me of what Barnabas was to Paul, an encouragement. She wanted me to know that she was thinking of me.
Here is the front of the card:
The Scripture on the inside reads, “Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who hope in the Lord.” Psalm 31:24 NASB
This was our reaction to her thoughtfulness:
“When they had read it, they rejoiced over its encouragement.” Acts 15:31.
I hope this song blesses and encourages you in the same manner in which He blessed and encouraged us today.
Thank You, heavenly Father, for the blessings and encouragement which You send our way. They are always on time and minister to us according to Your purpose. Blessing and honor and glory and power are Yours, forever more. We love You! In Jesus’ name, amen.
