How Great Are You Lord

Praise the LORD, all nations;
Laud Him, all peoples!
For His lovingkindness is great toward us,
And the truth of the LORD is everlasting.
Praise the LORD!
~ Psalm 117 ~

Our God is great and worthy of all praise, honor, and glory. He has done great things for us; the greatest being His beloved Son, Jesus, given as a ransom for us.

This week my daughter and I have spent each day listening to songs from Robin Mark’s “Revival in Belfast”cd. We have worshiped, praised, and danced as we took breaks from intensely studying and learning biology.

I join with David in singing praises to our Lord, for He has blessed us with new insights and turned our hearts toward Him. It was because of His word and the songs that we were able to successfully accomplish our goals for biology this week.

So join me, in extolling our God, blessing His name, and praising Him. “Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; And His greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise Your works to another and shall declare Your mighty acts” (Psalm 145:3-4).

Flowers2O, LORD, You are great and there is none like You!

Like lost lambs, Jesus sought us out and His lovingkindness rescued us and brought us into Your presence. You took us from death to life, even as a flower that is dying will revive with water and nutrients.

You restored our souls and made our spirits come alive; we will never be the same. Be gloried through our worship and praise; in Jesus’ name, amen.
