O Lord, You are my God.
I will exalt You,
I will praise Your name,
For You have done wonderful things;
Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
~ Isaiah 25:1 ~
There is something about focusing ourselves—heart and soul—on our God. It is a conscious choice to say to Him, “I will exalt You, Lord.”
It is a most excellent thing to look to Him and not to ourselves, others, our condition, the world, etc., because in Him is found the comfort and rest that we seek.
He is our hiding place, our safe refuge, our peace. He is our safe harbor in the storm because we are anchored in Him.
I cannot express all that is within me—He surpasses all that has been written. I just know that my heart desires and delights in Him.
He is never far away, He always hears me, He ever loves me.
Therefore, I will exalt Him. He is my God.
Dear Lord, my heart is too full to express in words what I cannot speak; the only thing that I can do is magnify You in the privacy of my being. “Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; Let Your glory be above all the earth” Psalm 57:5. Amen.
